Goldsmith
After becoming a goldsmith, I have designed and manufactured bespoke jewellery pieces, as well as manufactured pieces from collections. I have also made larger projects for corporate presents. My interest for the technical side peaked later: I wanted to understand different techniques and tools better, as well as be a part of developing this field. This led to studies within industrial design.
To achieve a beautiful and high-quality result, one must understand the process and its different parts. Even though they say handicraft is a cooperation of the hand and eye, I believe the most important tool is the mind. Now I feel as if I am in a work environment where my input is valued. I am constantly gaining new insight from watching my highly skilled co-workers in their work.
